LEVER FIRE VALVE KITS

These Lever Fire valves are designed to shut off the flow of fuel should there be a fire in the vicinity of the valves soldered link to help starve the fire of any additional fuel to continue burning. These are also a requirement for an oil heating installation. This type of valve is usually used in a commercial or industrial setting where the oil fired boiler may not be near the fuel pipeline coming into the building.

Lever Valves work by tensioning the stainless cord so the valve is held open, the stainless cord is joined in the area of the boiler by a Eutectic Soldered Link, this link melts in the event of a fire, and the valve closes.

Lever Valves are an economical and space-saving alternative to Drop-Weight / Free-Fall Valves, and the same manual or electronic actuation switches can be used in the control cable.

Good quality Lever Valve Kits, available in 3/8″, 1/2″, and 3/4″ BSP Female Threaded.

Each kit includes:

• 1 Lever Valve Body
• 9M of Stainless Steel Wire
• 2 Pulleys
• 1 Eutectic Soldered Link
• 1 Spring
• 1 Anchor
• 6 Ferrules

There are a few different accessories that can be added to an installation with these valves. For instance a manual quick release button or an electronic version of this too.
