1″ Iron Elbow Joint – M/F

Description

1″ Iron Elbow joint for diesel pipework installations.

Malleable Iron 1″ 90° Male x 1″ Female Equal elbow – Black malleable iron elbow with an external 1″ BSP thread one side and a 1″ internal BSP thread the other with a 90 degree turn for use with mild steel pipe, usually found in fuelling pipework installations or on fuel transfer pump sets to change the direction of the flow. Using a standard BSP 1″ thread.

Due to these being an economy part you would need to ensure that when fitting them you make sure the threads seal properly, the best way to do this would be with a glue or jointing compound.

We do also supply articulated elbows in two different sizes (1″ & 3/4″) these give you a little more flexibility as they are double joint and can be angled at 45 & 90 degrees, they remain movable even when installed so they also act as a swivel joint, so ideal for adding at a hose joint to enable the hose to be manoeuvred easier when in use.
