Bund Alarm for Fuel Storage Tanks

Battery or mains powered versions available

Simple operating principle; A float switch is suspended inside the bund, just off of the bund floor.  This is factory attached to the alarm with a cable of 2m in length. In the event of the bund starting to fill with fluid, when the float is raised by the fluid this will cause an audible alarm to sound. The alarm can be silenced whilst the offending rise in liquid is being investigated and corrected.

Battery version is available for fitting to a tank where mains power is not accessible, with these versions you would need to add it to a maintenance schedule to check that the battery is still working. There is a test facility on the alarm for this purpose.

In addition to this Bund Alarm for Fuel Storage Tanks we also offer a bund alarm as part of a combined overfill and bund alarm, so this would monitor the high level as well as monitoring the bund for leaks. This incorporates 2 sensors one placed at the high level you wish monitor as well as a sensor monitoring the bund floor at low level. Combined Bund & Overfill Alarm

We have had customers that have re-purposed this combined alarm set to monitor high and low levels of fuel in the main tank, thus giving an alarm when your fuel level gets low and giving an audible alarm to order more fuel.
