Stainless Steel Non Return Valve 3/4″ & Basket Strainer

A non-return valve, also known as a check valve, clack valve, one-way valve or retention valve, is designed to allow fluid to flow in one direction only, therefore preventing the liquid from flowing back upstream of the valve.

In a fuel system a non return valve would usually be found on the end of a suction hose, usually submersed in the fuel, the valve will not allow fuel to flow back out of the suction hose to the pump therefore keeping the pump primed at all times. This is helpful and will cause less work for the pump to do each time a dispense is started the pump doesn’t then have to pull through fuel from the bottom of the hose again. In turn this will mean its protecting the pump for future maintenance problems.

This non return valve can also be supplied with a basket strainer to prevent debris being drawn through the suction hose into the pump and potentially cause the pump to jam or worst causing damage.

This non return valve in stainless steel ideal for use with water or dispensing DEF/Urea/Adblue®. 3/4″ female connection, a basket strainer is available to enable this valve to be used as a check valve.
