Description

Atkinson Tankmaster Pull to Read Valve

The Atkinson Tankmaster valve has been the industry standard fuel storage tank contents gauge for over 60 years. British engineering at its best, we support the valve with the complete range of spares so you can rely on the fact that its fully serviceable. With simple operational functions that has made the valve an firm favourite for an installation engineer and homeowner alike. The pull to read button to get your fuel level is straight forward and relies on fluid physics and not electronic parts like most contents gauges nowadays. A fully replaceable filter to ensure that only clean fuel reaches your boiler. The gauge also acts as an isolation valve when things need to be serviced.

  1. Control Valve to turn on/off oil supply;
  2. Pull to Read Valve/Sight Tube allows inspection of tank contents level;
  3. Integral Filter to ensure only clean oil is allowed to pass from the tank;
  4. Self-Closing Hand Wheel isolates oil supply in case of fire near the tank.

The complete Tankmaster pull to read valve – simply unscrew old pull to read screw from the body of the Tankmaster and screw in replacement unit, making sure the the hole is clear from any debris.

Suitable for both Tankmaster Mark I and Mark II.

    Fitted easily – bear in mind contents of sight tube will drain onto the ground when you remove the old one. I found the new one didn’t offer a complete seal to the tank so the sight tube filled slowly even when the knob wasnt pulled out. But suspect that’s from crud in my system. It did provide complete seal to the exterior which is what I wanted to fix, so happy with this.
