INLINE ISOLATION VALVES
Isolation Valves – Linear Movement
Isolation valves are essential elements in any fluid system, designed to halt the flow of fluid to specific areas. They also provide the option for manual flow control. According to the European standard EN 736-1:1995, valves are categorized as follows:
- Isolating Valve: Specifically designed for use in either the fully closed or fully open position.
- Regulating Valve: Suitable for operation in any position between closed and fully open.
- Control Valve: A power-operated device that adjusts fluid flow rates within a process control system.
These isolation valves find application in various scenarios requiring on/off control, including:
- Diverting process media
- Isolating flow for:
- Maintenance activities
- Equipment removal
- Plant shutdowns
To accommodate the wide range of applications and diverse operating conditions, numerous types and designs of isolation valves have been developed.
These Inline Isolation Valves have an inlet that can be 1/4″ BSP Male; 1/4″ BSP Female; or 10mm Compression fitting as required (Note: 1/4″ BSP thread is virtually identical to 8mm thread).
All come complete with 10mm compression outlet and there is a choice of inlet, please make your selection from the drop down box.
